By accessing galvestonconnect.com or applying for a Galveston Connect membership, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use our services.
These Terms apply to all visitors, applicants, and members of Galveston Connect LLC ("Galveston Connect," "we," "us," or "our").
Galveston Connect operates a membership-based platform that connects vetted local service providers with short-term rental (STR) hosts on Galveston Island, Texas. Our services include:
Membership is open to legitimate local service businesses operating on Galveston Island. By applying, you represent that:
Galveston Connect reserves the right to reject any application at its sole discretion. Not all applicants will be approved. We maintain quality standards to protect the trust of our host network.
Membership fees are billed monthly through Stripe. By providing payment information, you authorize Galveston Connect to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis at the rate associated with your selected plan.
Your membership remains active until cancelled. You will not receive a refund for the current billing period upon cancellation. Your access continues through the end of the paid period.
Prices may be updated with 30 days' notice to active members.
You may cancel your membership at any time through your Stripe account or by contacting us through our website. Upon cancellation:

Galveston Connect reserves the right to suspend or terminate any membership for conduct that, in our sole judgment, violates these standards or damages the reputation of the network. No refund will be issued for terminations due to misconduct.
Approved members grant Galveston Connect permission to display their business name, service type, and relevant business details in the provider directory and within our private Facebook Group for the duration of their active membership.
Promotional services (shout-out posts, spotlight emails, banner placement) included in Professional and Elite tiers are provided on a best-effort basis. Galveston Connect does not guarantee specific booking results or outcomes from membership.
All content on galvestonconnect.com — including text, design, logos, and copy — is the property of Galveston Connect LLC. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.
By submitting application materials, you grant us a limited license to display your business name and publicly available business information as part of our directory services.
Galveston Connect is a directory and marketplace platform. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of services provided by listed members. We do not guarantee that any member will receive bookings or generate revenue through our platform.
Our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Galveston Connect LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services, including lost profits or business opportunities. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid in membership fees in the three months preceding any claim.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Galveston County, Texas.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date above. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. For material changes, we will notify active members by email.
